Fashion | London Fashion Weekend

Hello lovelies

On Friday myself and a friend took a trip up to London Fashion Weekend. Having moved venue this year it was a really nice location at The Saatchi Gallery on The Kings Road. After walking around the building looking at all of the designers, we popped over to the Maybelline stand. Here we had a make over and picked up a few bits of makeup that were on offer. Upstairs was the Tony and Guy stand, I couldn't resist, so I bought a new curling tong. We were very lucky to get tickets and amazing seats to see the Peter Pilotto show which was stunning.

Beauty | Birchbox at Selfridges

Hello lovelies

Having been up to Central London a few times recently I thought I'd pop into Selfridges and check out the Birchbox counter that is there at the moment.
Seeing as it is their 5th birthday they set up a stand at Selfridges where you can go and pick your own 6 deluxe samples from their range. As a girl who doesn't want to commit to paying £10 a month before she knows if she'll like it, I would really recommend going and purchasing a box here. The six samples that I picked up were a great size for their price.

I also purchased the "Makeup Eraser". After hearing so many good things about this product I thought it would be worth a try and hopefully it'll live up to its expectations.

BirchBox keyring.

6 Deluxe size samples.

Macadamia Ultra Rich Moisture Shampoo.

Rituals Honey Touch Body Cream.

Mirenesse iCurl 24 hour mascara.

Pop Eyeshadow trio in Peach Parfait.

Clarins Hydra-Quench Cream Mask.

If you would like me to review any of these product let me know via a comment on here, Instagram or twitter.

Until next time!

Fashion | Wicked! (ootd)

Hello lovelies

Yesterday I had the best surprise ever! I was taken up to London to see Wicked at the Apollo Theatre in Victoria. I have been wanting to see this show for ages (by ages I mean at least a year and a half). After grabbing dinner at Nandos we headed to the theatre and I managed to get a few photos. I also thought I'd show you what I wore for the evening (I did go for the more dressier side for the evening because what girl doesn't like to dress up?!).
Such an amazing birthday present!

Inside the theatre, we had the best seats and view :)

Dress: Boohoo Nights
Shoes: Marks and Spencers
Jacket: Forever 21 (£16)
Bag: Primark (£5)
Lipstick: MAC in the colour M.A.C Red

Beauty | SS15 Beauty must haves Featuring Magnitone!

Hello lovelies

Todays post is about my Spring/Summer beauty must haves. I don't know about you, but in the summer my skin is a lot harder to look after because it is oily and acne prone. So I thought I would let you know my skincare and a few makeup must have for the summer that I use and few that are definitely on my wish list!

So to start of with is skin care, its all about having a good skincare routine otherwise you're just going to make your skin worse than it is.

I love the Garnier Micellar Water to remove the makeup and dirt on my face and it is perfect for getting rid of waterproof mascara and eyeliner. The next thing I love to use is a charcoal face mask once a week to really get rid of any dirt thats on my skin. For a moisturiser I use the 24 hour moisturising cream from Lidl, which all though its cheap it keeps my face hydrated without leaving it oily and breaking me out. For those of you who have acne prone skin I would highly recommend Silver Serum. Although it is a little more on the expensive side I can put a little bit on my face and the spots will either be gone or have reduced in size dramatically by the next morning!

The number one thing on my wish list for my skin is the Magnitone Eclipse. This product can be used on a daily basis and it has 3 different detachable heads so you can target any part of your body, which is great for seeing as I do get acne of my arms and back as well. It also has a brush head that is for exfoliating once a week with so you can get a really deep clean on the skin. After reading so many reviews I am hooked on this product and hope to be able to own one myself one day!

This is the Magnitone Eclipse you can purchase it here for £149.99.

Moving onto makeup, and again this does change for me in the summer as I try to use less so I don't clog up my pores which would make me break out more.

The first thing is a foundation that is lightweight yet gives a good amount of coverage and for me, that is the Rimmel London Wake Me Up foundation. Then I will use a very light amount of powder which is normally the MUA compact powder. I always use a bit of hoola bronzer and a very natural cream blush to make me more sun kissed and the MUA contour kit in light just to give me a more defined look. I am using the Soap and Glory's Thick and Fast mascara at the moment, however if I am to go in a swimming pool I do use a waterproof mascara.

There are two things on my makeup wish list and they are the Clinique Chubby sticks and the Real Techniques Bold Metals brush collection. I do apply my makeup with brushes and these are such gorgeous, well made brushes I adore them! I would love to own the clinque chubby sticks for contouring and highlighting, after reading reviews on them I would love to see how they work on my skin!

You can buy the Chubby Sticks here for £19.

You can buy the Bold Metals collection here.

I hope you like my SS15 beauty essentials and I also hope that it has helped you out a bit if you have oily/acne prone skin. And don't forget to go and check out Magnitone at www.magnitone.co.uk and have a look at all of their amazing products to find which one is right for you!

Until next time!

Disclaimer - I was not paid to promote these products, all opinions are my own. I was offered the opportunity to work alongside Magnitone after contacting them to produce this beauty must haves.

Fashion | Summer Essentials!

Hello lovelies

I know that the weather here in England isn't amazing, but it is now summer and thought I'd show you my summer essentials, especially seeing as I'm going away soon!

My Summer Essentials!

Seeing as it's summer and the weather should be hot (depending on where you are of course!), you are definitely going to need and bikini, this one is from H&M. You'll also need a comfortable yet stylish pair of shorts, these are from Primark. Sunglasses are a must in the summer, these are from Primark and cost me £1.50, Bargain!! And how about these girly white sandals? Again, they are from Primark so were affordable, they are comfy and give a touch of glamour to any outfit be it day or night.

Moving onto makeup and perfume! Every girl needs a good perfume and my favourite is Lady Million by Paco Rabbane. I also bought this little device called Flo, it is a travel sized perfume bottle that is allowed on the plane and can hold any perfume you want, both were purchased from The Perfume Shop. A bright or pastel nail colour is perfect for on your toes or finger nails, this on is from Models Own in the colour "Cornflower Gleam". A body spray is also a good idea if you don't have a perfume, this is a favourite of mine from Victoria's Secret. The last makeup essential for me is a good bronzer, I have tried lots of them and I have yet to find a drugstore bronzer that has the right shade and colour pay off that this one from Benefit!

The last two things that are summer essentials to me is a cute bottle, this one is from The Disney Store, which I felt was suitable seeing as I am going to Disney this summer. I also have my phone as an essential so as I can take photos and listen to music.

That is all of my summer essentials, let me know what some of yours are for summer and also let me know if you would like a blog post on what I am taking in my suitcase and hang luggage when I go away!

Until next time!

Beauty | Cinderella by MAC

Hello my lovelies

Today I wanted to talk about the Cinderella collection by MAC. As most of you know, Disney recently released the new live action version of the classic fairytale Cinderella. In collaboration with Disney, MAC created a line of cosmetics for the film. This post will have swatches and photos of the products that i picked up and my first impressions on them.

My first impression of the whole collection was how pretty it was. The baby blue tide in with the Cinderella theme perfectly and as a girl who loves Disney (see my last post Disneyland Paris) I was beyond excited!
The packaging is gorgeous!
I decided that it would be best to show you each product I got in a close up photo so I can give you a description of each product.
This is "Coupe D'Chic". It is described as a irradecent powder. It is a lovely warm
rose colour with gold flecks in it. I would use this as a blush or highlighter.

This is the eye pallet called "Stroke Of Midnight". There are 6 shade, all of which
can create natural look for the day time or a heavier look for going out.

This is "Macroviolet". This is fluid line gel eyeliner in a deep purple colour
with gold flecks in it.
This is "Happily Ever After". As a light pink it goes perfectly over
"Royal Ball".

This is "Royal Ball". It is a pinky coloured nude with very little amounts of
shimmer.
I also swatched these products so that you can get an idea in how they look on the skin.

On the left had picture is "Coupe D'Chic", it's a barley there colour but perfect for a subtle blush or highlight.
On the right photo there are two swatches, "Royal Ball" (left) & "Happily Ever After" (right). Both are pale pinks and work very well together.

On the right is the "Stroke Of Midnight" pallet. The colours are (left to right) Vapour, Phloof! & Omega (top row). Quarry, Satin Taupe and Stroke Of Midnight (bottom row).
The right hand photo is of Macroviolet, as you can see it can be very subtle and it can also be built up for a more dramatic look.

I am in love with this collection and cannot wait to try using it and coming up with different makeup looks with it. If you would like me to do a post on how I apply the makeup and what it looks like on (both a daytime and evening look) then leave a comment below letting me know.

Until next time!
